Russian ruble enters cbank's intervention zone
MOSCOW, Sep 30 (PRIME) -- The Russian ruble has broken into a zone where the central bank must intervene with the dual-currency basket, comprising U.S. $0.55 and 0.45 euros, reaching 44.52 as of 17.10 Moscow time Tuesday, as follows from the data of the Moscow Exchange.
Currently, the corridor of the dual-currency basket is limited to 44.4 rubles, and if it exceeds the limit, then the central bank is to carry out unlimited currency interventions so that the basket returns into the corridor.
